学術名ではないのでカタナカでは書かないでしょうが、こういう名前の
甘藻_amamo_があるそうです。
「りゅうぐうのおとひめのもとゆいのきりはずし」
20音節あります。漢字にすれば「竜宮乙姫元結切外」です。
作家の井上ひさしは、「日本語大辞典」（小学館）所載45万語のうち、これが
最も長い語ではないかと「日本語相談」（朝日文庫）の中で書いています。広辞苑
（第3版）では「りゅうぐう」の追い込み見出しとして載っています。
乙姫さまの髪を束ねた部分を切り離したような形をしている藻なのでしょうが、
それにしても雅趣のある命名で、感心します。
